White butter - 100 gm Icing Sugar - 100 gm Vanilla essence- 2-3 drops Colour - any few drops
METHOD
1. Beat the butter till light and fluffy 2. Sift the icing sugar and add to the butter little at a time while beating . Add a few drops of vanilla essence and mix the colour

(Tip: In the interest of time and effort, you can use readymade cookies or store-bought sponge cake and decorate it with the above butter frosting!
Easiest option would be to use Marie biscuit as a base. But since the biscuit could break easily under the weight of the frosting, you could make a stronger base by making a Marie biscuit chocolate sandwich - simply put melts chocolate between 2 Marie biscuits and freeze it for a short time. And then apply the butter frosting)
